This series, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Tour de France, was sold as T-shirts, posters and fine art prints. The image is very abstracted. All of the shapes are very simple and could easily be created in Illustrator with a few shapes. The shapes’ transparencies are then dropped so you can see through them. This gives the illusion of shadows. Gradients were applied to the road and mountains to draw your eye to the road curing ahead.
